Relax24 is run by Relax24 Media Inc., in Canada. You can listen here without an account and without giving us anything. This page says what is kept, and who else is involved.
If you download a recording
Downloads come through Gumroad, a separate company. The email you enter goes to Gumroad, which sends you the link and keeps a record of the download. We can see that record in our Gumroad account. Gumroad's privacy policy covers what it does.
We do not keep your email on our own server unless you tick the box to hear about new recordings.
If you tick "Send me new recordings"
We keep your email, the date, the page you were on, the words you agreed to, and a scrambled fragment of your internet address that helps us spot abuse. We use your email to tell you about new recordings and nothing else. We never sell it.
Every email has an unsubscribe link. Once you use it, you stop hearing from us. You can also write to us and we will delete your address.
If you signed up for the starter pack
We keep the same details, and we use them to send you a note when there is more to download.
What stays on your device
Your favourites, the last recording you played, a few settings and, once you have entered it, your email so you need not type it again. These stay in your browser and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
Measuring how the site works
We use Microsoft Clarity to see where the site breaks or confuses people. It records how pages are used, such as clicks, scrolling and heat maps, and can replay a visit. Clarity may set its own cookies. It does not load if your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Microsoft's privacy statement covers what it does.
Other services the site relies on
- GoDaddy hosts the site and Bunny delivers the sound and video files. Like most web services, they handle your internet address to reach you and may keep ordinary logs.
- Google Fonts supplies the lettering on these pages.
- YouTube supplies some pictures and any video shown on a page. Links to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music and X take you to those companies, under their own rules.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@relax24.com. If you are in Canada and we do not sort it out, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
These services may store information outside your country, including in the United States.
