Water dripping into a pool inside a cave, each drop echoing in the stone, for eleven hours. Dark, damp and very calm.
Inside a cave, out of the wind and the weather, water drips from the rock into a still pool. Each drop lands with a small clear note and a long echo off the walls; behind the drips there is only the faint hush of the cave itself. The rhythm is never quite regular, which is what keeps it from sounding like a machine.
This is the quietest recording on the Wind page and one of the most even on the whole site. It suits people who find rain or waves too busy, and it works well at very low volume.
